Step 1

When you have confirmed with UCAS that Bath Spa University is your firm choice, Student Housing Services will email you confirming whether you are eligible to apply accommodation.

We begin to write to eligible students from the 4th March onwards. Please wait to hear from us, as we will give full details of the application process in this email.

Bath Spa University insurance choice students, will not be eligible to apply for accommodation in the first instance. Students who take up their place at Bath Spa University should contact Student Housing Services accommodation@bathspa.ac.uk after they have received examination results, for information on housing options.

Step 2

Take a close look at our website and decide what accommodation is right for you. Please be aware your campus of study will determine which accommodation options you are eligible to apply for. Fill out the online application form and submit it via our website. Please ensure that all your contact information is correct before submitting your application form and that this information will remain valid.

You have up until Friday 5th July to submit your application form to Student Housing. Allocation is not done on a first come first served basis, so please do not rush to submit your form to us.

All students that have submitted an application by the application deadline will receive an emailed offer of accommodation from Student Housing before the end of July. All students will be required to accept an offer of accommodation by email by Friday 26th July, or the the offer will be withdrawn. The type of accommodation allocated, will determine what additional actions you need to take to accept the accommodation offer.

Step 3

Exam results are published on the 15th August. If you do not meet the conditions of your offer of a place at Bath Spa University, you will be released from your student accommodation agreement and any deposit already paid will be refunded.

Final confirmation of accommodation offers which will include room numbers, will be sent to all students who have successfully met the conditions of their place at Bath Spa University during August. Details of moving in weekend will also be sent at this time.
