Living in Newton Park Campus, you're surrounded by beautiful countryside. You'll find lots of green areas that are perfect for sitting with friends or studying in the sun. Or if you're in search of inspiration, look out across Newton Park Lake or stroll round its banks to the stunning lakeside 'temple' building.
Newton Park has several places to get hot and cold food, coffee, drinks and groceries. These include The Refectory, and within this The Deli, which offer hot lunches, light meals, hot and cold drinks, sweet and savoury snacks. You can get coffee and pastries at East Wing Coffee found in the Main House, and hot drinks with paninis and light snacks at the Commons Cafe in The Commons Building.
The Students Union (SU) has a fully licenced bar and also serves hot meals with daily deals for students. The SU also has a shop where you can buy essential groceries along with University merchandise such as hoodies and t-shirts.

Getting to Bath city centre couldn't be easier. The First Bus 15 service runs regularly throughout the day, taking you to and from the sights, sounds, shopping and employment of Bath. If you have a bike, you'll find Newton Park Courts bicycle friendly too, with secure bike racks on campus.
Please note that Students living at Newton Park Campus are not permitted to bring a car on-site.
If you're a sociable soul that likes the company of good friends, Newton Park Campus is the place to be. A range of facilities are right on your doorstep, including a launderette, refectory, Students' Union, gym, library and theatre.

Commons Courts Accommodation
Langton and Temple halls of residences are both set around small courtyards, creating a cosy community feel. Both halls of residences comprise of single rooms which includes a good-sized desk, single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and wash basin. You'll also share bathroom and toilet facilities with no more than four other residents and a kitchen and communal area between 4 to 8 residents. The price for a single room in Commons Courts is noted as Newton Park single on the accommodation price list.
Commons Traditional Accommodation
Hiscocks, Harington and Pope halls of residence include both single and shared rooms, with residents sharing bathroom and toilet facilities between no more than five other students. Kitchens are also communal so whether you're hot at the hob or a dab hand at TV dinners, you'll share a kitchen/dining area with eight to twelve fellow residents, which includes an oven/hob, microwave, fridge with freezer and a seating area.
Single rooms which includes a good-sized desk, single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and wash basin is noted on the accommodation price list as a Newton Park single room.
We also have a limited number of twin rooms which have all the same facilities as a single room, however you share your room with another student so it works out as the cheapest halls accommodation option. The shared rooms in the Commons Traditional Accommodation is noted on the accommodation price list as a Newton Park shared room.
We have a limited amount of en-suite rooms in the Commons Accommodation but Sydney halls of residence offers single rooms which includes a good-sized desk, single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and has the addition of a modern fitted en-suite with shower, wash basin and toilet. Rooms in Sydney are noted on the accommodation price list as Newton Park ensuite single.
We have a small number of rooms in shared houses on Newton Park campus which have both single and large single rooms. Both room types include a good-sized desk, single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and wash basin and residents share both bathroom and toilet facilites and a kitchen between 3 to 5 other residents. Single rooms in Commons Houses are noted as Newton Park single on the accommodation price list and a large single room is notes as Newton Park large single on the accommodation price list.

Accepting your Offer and Deposits
For information on Accepting your Offer, once you have been given an offer of accommodation after exam results in mid-August 2015, please click here.
You will be required to pay a deposit of £250 to accept any accommodation offer.
These new student accommodation are situated at the very top of the Newton Park campus and have been completed for September 2014. All rooms in the Gardens have fitted beds measuring 124cm x 194cm. This is between a double and small double bed and we recommend bringing double bedding (with a non-fitted sheet). All blocks contain 10 study bed rooms with the exception of Lime G and F blocks which contain 8 study bed rooms.

In our Garden BSU Halls we have 14 studios and 1 fully accessible flat with full kitchen facilities, work/study space and en-suite facilities including shower, wash basin and toilet.
